B05 represents an ambitious step into the C-segment hatchback market, offering a premium experience at traditional B-segment prices:
STYLE Version (Entry-Level): Starts from €28,998 (inclusive of SEAI grant and VRT rebate). Features a 56.2 kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 401 km.
DESIGN Version: Starts from €32,984. Features a 67.1 kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 485 km.
Leapmotor B05 arrives packed with high-quality features and advanced technology across 2 distinct trims: STYLE; featuring a wide-body coupe-inspired silhouette, frameless doors, hidden handles, a blade-style lighting signature, 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and 21 ADAS safety features; and DESIGN; which adds eco-leather upholstery, ambient lighting, heated front seats, and a dedicated Launch Control mode.
With class-leading proportions including a 1,880 mm shoulder width and a drag coefficient of just 0.26, the B05 is perfectly suited for Irish roads. Inside, B05’s interior is anchored by a dual-screen cockpit featuring a 14.6" floating infotainment display and an 8.8" digital cluster, serving as the high-tech centrepiece of the cabin, powered by Leapmotor's latest operating system, Leap OS 4.0 Plus.
Performance is equally impressive, with a high-efficiency electric motor delivering 218 hp and 240 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. Co-developed with Stellantis’ global chassis team, the B05 has been specifically tuned to meet European driving expectations. It features a rear-wheel-drive architecture, perfect 50:50 weight distribution, and MacPherson front/multi-link rear suspension. Both battery variants are supported by ultra-fast DC charging via its innovative Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) architecture, enabling a quick 30-80% charge in approximately 17 minutes.
The integrated Leapmotor App enables full remote access to key vehicle functions, including climate control, charging scheduling, vehicle status monitoring, and digital key functionality, ensuring a fully connected and intuitive user experience.
